About the Presenter:
Dr Samrat Chatterjee, MS (Ophthalmology)
Dr Samrat Chatterjee currently a consultant at MGM Eye Institute 5th Mile, Vidhan Sabha Road,Raipur, Chattisgarh, India, did his MS in Ophthalmology from RIO Gauhati Medical College Guwahati, India in 1999. He did his Fellowship in Cornea & Anterior Segment from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad in 2001.
His area of interest is corneal infection, pediatric cataract and contact lens. He has written few chapters in the international edition of Modern Ophthalmology edited by Dr LC Dutta from Jaypee publication. He has national and international publications in peer reviewed journals. These are few international publications and presentations:

He has keen interest to create new rural eye care facilities including human resources. He loves reading English literature specially fictions. His wife is a lawyer and both of them hail from the North East part of India. They have a three years old son.
