About the Presenter:
Present Position: Private practice at Meerut, at T P Agrawal Institute of Ophthalmology. Over 10-years of busy practice; have vast experience in specialized and general ophthalmic conditions. About to start an advanced and complete Ophthalmic set-up in New Delhi.
Presently Reviewer to Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, Archives of Ophthalmology, Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, Eye, Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, etc.
Interest in: Cataract, Refractive surgery, Uveitis and Medical Retina, Advanced Vitreoretinal Surgery, Glaucoma, General Ophthalmology
Run our own eye institute at Meerut, India. Besides me, my wife, Dr Jaya Agrawal, MS DNB MNAMS FRCS, and my father, Dr T P Agrawal, MS, also work in the T P Agrawal Institute of Ophthalmology, which is a renowned centre of north India. Ours is the oldest (35-years) and one of the best-equipped clinic with Excimer laser, Phocoemulsification, Advanced Vitreoretinal set-up, etc. We are a multispeciality eye institute, clinical and research. Ours is a fully equipped, reputed centre for cataract service, refractive/ excimer laser service and advanced vitreo-retinal services, besides glaucoma, squint/ orthoptics, etc. I am also attached to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, as a visiting consultant.
Been presenting/ invited at the Annual AAO and Annual ASCRS Meetings for last few years, besides National (All India Ophthalmological Society), State (Delhi Ophthalmological Society) and Local meetings.
Publications –
I have many research papers in reputed international peer-reviewed journals; have 25 - 30 in indexed/ peer-reviewed journals (Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmolgy, Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, Retina, Eye, Journal of Glaucoma, Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, etc.), few chapters in books.
