About the Presenter:
Dr. McMann graduated medical school from The Pritzker School of Medicine at The University of Chicago. Upon graduation, he began his active duty Army career when he did his Internship and Ophthalmology Residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Following his residency graduation in June 2001, Dr. McMann stayed on at Madigan Army Medical Center for two years as a general ophthalmology teaching staff where he was awarded the Golden Apple Award as the best teaching staff as voted on by the residents. Dr. McMann then finished out his eight year Army career at Martin Army Community Hospital in Columbus, Georgia before beginning a one year fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Emory University. Dr. McMann is planning on moving to Hawaii in July 2006 where he plans on entering private practice.
