About the Presenter:
Dr Colin Tan is an ophthalmologist from The Eye Institute at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National Healthcare Group, Singapore. His research interests include vitreoretinal conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, studying the visual experiences encountered by patients during ophthalmic surgical procedures and formed visual hallucinations (Charles Bonnet syndrome) in patients with ocular disorders. He has published in international journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Eye and Acta Ophthalmologica Scandinavica.
